"My first impression of this ring was "wow what a stunner"-heavy gold (over 7 grams and the band is solid-no hollowing out on the sides) and nice black diamond ball. But oh those white diamonds....grey tinge and naked eye noticeable carbon spots-so disappointing. On the up side, they do sparkle and are not the first thing one sees because the black ball is a really beautiful distraction (no scratches or chips, either). This ring sits about 13mm off the hand (the sphere itself is just over 10mm) and since it fits on my middle finger I think it runs a little large (maybe a quarter of a size). Its highly polished inside and out and the construction/workmanship is far better than I expected in a 10k item. I would recommend if you are buying for the unique design (spinning the ball is fun if you're prone to fidgeting like I am) and can live with the inferior white diamonds-if not for those this would be an immediate keeper, Unfortunately, I'm still on the fence but feel myself leaning closer to the keeper side since I do love everything else about this ring."

"What makes this ring beautiful is the unique design. The black diamond ball actually spins as shown during the presentation. The ring is valued at a fair price considering you are getting 2.50c of diamonds. The white diamonds on the side of the ring are a bit small, but still the ring is and absolute beauty. Once you purchase this ring and wear it, everyone who takes notice will say, "where did you get this beautiful ring". You just simply say JTV."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
