"I love this ring, but I will be sending it back. When I received it, one of the blue diamonds were missing. It's a very substantial and lovely ring and I am so disappointed that I am sending it back. I do know that JTV will replace it quickly. Love your stuff JTV!!!!"

"I bought this ring around to six months ago. But when it arrived the stones were no good in off, they looked like a little pieces of glass and they were no bright like diamond have to be. Anyway I kept the ring, because the price. I thought to the price you cannot have a nice diamond ring. But now, I am disappointed because the band is starting to get darker and look like just a piece of metal (steel) no like sterling silver. The truth is that I liked very much the ring on the website, but now that I have it is just no good!"

"What a bummer! This ring is a cool match to a cross tattoo my better half has, and I knew it would be a great gift. However, it was one of those depressing orders that never arrive -- the ones that eventually become a letter about the item being "no longer" in stock. WHERE do they go?? It's happened too often: with important last minute Holiday gifts, with popular items, & with clearance deals. So, I'm really going to address this, please: first, WHY does this happen? Couldn't I have AT LEAST been offered an alternative size? JTV had my money, so couldn't I have received something? There simply must be a better way than spending money for NOTHING in the end. The product does show as "sold" as soon as it is in a cart, right? If not, IT SHOULD! Otherwise, why over-sell merchandise? If it isn't a cart problem, then who is canceling the order & buying the item I've already purchased? I read the same problem in another review, & like the other customer I too used a coupon; surely, my order wasn't canceled because I had one small item with a coupon? Now the coupon isn't valid: it's "used" and won't work if I re-order the ring! Surely, my purchases of over 500 items in less than a year (not to mention the past 8 years) aren't being overlooked as the single item order with coupon appears "too thrifty"? JTV, I just can't help but wonder why this goes on .... Please fix this important issue; it's been happening for years. At this point, I feel like I'm gambling, not shopping, on if I'll be lending JTV money or buying that nice, lucky last gift :)"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
