"When I opened the box, I was really pleasantly surprised! The ring is much, much prettier than it looks on the website. The garnets are a deep, beautiful red....not brownish red like so many other garnets that I have seen. This was my first garnet purchase, but I am sure that it won't be my last! I actually prefer the garnets in this ring over the natural rubies in my ring that was purchased at a national "chain" jewelry store for close to $1,000.00 back in 1982. This ring is a definite keeper!"
