"I purchased trillion and round champagne quartz, wanted to add the cushion cut for variety to my collectin. Probably will make a pair of earrings too. This stone looks nice in sterling silver as I made up rounds in earrings and pendant before."

"I really wanted to love this pendant. I ordered the matching ring and neither of them had a star. The surrounding rubies were pretty with good color and it looked good until you tried to find the star. Also the center ruby looked striped diagonally across the surface of the stone. In both the matching ring and the pendant there was a white glow that did move around when turned in the light. But there was no evidence of a star. I have a couple other star rubies which I purchased loose elsewhere and had set, and I also own a couple of star sapphire pieces too. So I know nice star sapphire and star ruby when I see them. But I am disappointed and had to return both items. To be honest I am very surprised the matching ring had so many positive reviews. Mine had no visable star in either piece. Sorry JTV, I think more of your items need to be inspected better. I have bought many thinkgs I like from JTV, so I will continue shopping with you."
