"The only reason I did not rate this higher was due to the pale colour, however that being said the ring is substantial and nicely done. My stone was pale lilac, and I am keeping it for the money it cost I consider it a great deal. The setting and the overall presentation is excellent."

"Nice ring, but the amethyst is very light in color. Not at all as dark as the picture shown. I think I will have to return it for that reason. Sorry, JTV. Usually I'm very happy with my purchases, but this one lacks the dark rich color I'm looking for in the amethyst."
