"I just received this ring and I love it. I have no problems with my stone. The color is a rich dark blue-violet and there are no scratches . Angela said this was a pick of hers and I was definately not disappointed. The diamonds are sparkling and
bright not milky. Thanks Angela and JTV!"

"I was very disappointed and sad to have to send this ring back. The diamond setting was very nice, but the tanzy had a huge window in the cut and looked like glass not a expensive gemstone. The overall setting design was one of my favorites."

"When I first opened the ring box, I was very excited with the color, which was excellent, size of the stone and style of the ring. I took the ring to my jeweler and looked at it under the microscope. We discovered that the stone was cut uneven and the culet was off center with scratches along the entire length. It also had a very large window in it. I also saw some of these defects using my lighted loupe which I purchased from JTV. I needed confirmation on what I saw since I'm just getting into really looking beyond what the eye can see. Since I don't have limited funds, I decided to send the ring back. I spoke with the JTV customer service department before making my decision to get a refund instead of a replacement. Apparently stones from the same lot may have the same defects. I didn't want to keep sending it back and forth hoping for a good stone. I'm very disappointed since I really fell in love with this ring. If you want a beautiful eye clean gem and a beautiful setting and are not concerened about the flaws I found, then by all means purchase this ring. My jeweler did indicate that the value of the ring was around $1500."
