Heliodor is found in Brazil, Madagascar, the U.S. (North Carolina and California), in Middle Eastern countries, and Russia. It has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on Mohs' scale.

    "This stone is just a beautiful shade of yellow. There are no brown undertones in this stone's color. It is a clean, clear, sparkley, light sunshine yellow and is very similar to the yellow color in a nice yellow diamond. The cushion cut is beautiful. It's simply a stunning gem!"
