"I was looking forward to receiving these earrings which I bought to give as a present. The stones are not as blue as they look in the picture on the internet, and the mechanism for putting them into your ear is quite difficult. I will probably give them to my niece who has small ear lobes and patience to work with the clasp."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
