"When I received the pendant I could not believe how beautiful it was. The cut, color and clarity superb. I went to put it on the chain but could not get the chain thru the bale. It is so tiny that even a thin chain does not go thru it.
Please, please can you look into the bale issue because I really want this pendant but need to send it back because of the bale."

"I just received this pendant in the mail. They mystic topaz is a little dark but pretty anyway especially with the special cutting. But the 1MM opening for a chain is much too small. I went through the dozen or so chains I have and not one of them would fit through it. I would have enjoyed this pendant very much but I would have to try to find a tiny chain that actually worked. I will send this back. Why would anyone make a pendant this size and weight with such a tiny opening for a chain? Disappointed but I still love shopping at JTV."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
