    "when this came to me in one of my kits, I didn't use it at all. I would put my gems on my desk with white tissue paper and pick them all up with my fingers or tweezers one- by- one. That was really stupid, but habits are hard to change. I keep all my gem tools out of the case in a huge red glass fostoria ashtray, including this scoop. One day I was in a hurry picking up gems, so I grabbed my scoop. Now I use it all the time. It's a great little invention and I've never lost a gem using it."
