Product Description for Min 7.00ct 14mm Round Rutilated QuartzMost varieties of quartz are prized for having few or no inclusions, which increases their value; rutilated quartz is more valuable and sought after because of its inclusions. These "inclusions" are golden needles of rutile that form different patterns inside the stone, sometimes referred to as "Venus hair." Each pattern is as different as two snowflakes are from each other, and some of them are remarkably beautiful. It is a great collector's stone and ranks 7 on Mohs' hardness scale.

"This Glorious stone was a 9 ct and just brilliant in the colors and the way the rutilazition went through the stone was magnificent!!! I Absolutely loved this stone, which proves my experience with most smaller stones which are always paler in color and cloudy in clarity!! So I shall always strive to get the larger stones (unless it's like a demantoid or diopside or alexandrite etc;) This is a GREAT stone also having 2 cts more doesn't hurt either."
