"I'm no expert on spessartites, but I know what I like. To me, this stone has a noticeable window, where the center is lighter than the edges. It is pretty clear, and the saturation of color is decent. I still don't see the internal fire the JTV hosts are always talking about, and I wouldn't call this an orange diamond, which is supposed to be what a good quality spessartite looks like. This looks like a nice, orange stone, but not an orange diamond. Not sure if I'm keeping it..."
