"After looking at this ring for months I finallly got mine yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The diamonds are clear and sparkle like crazy and because of the setting it reads like much more than 1ct. I do have other champaign diamond rings that I've purchased from JTV because I just love all of the colors that flash from them and because I could never affort white diamonds that sparkle like the champaign diamonds do but this ring is my all time favorite. Thanks JTV."

"I bought this pendant a couple of years ago, and if I remember, I paid $10 more for it than the current price listed. Normally, I don't care for JTV's diamonds unless they advertise the approximate color and clarity, but I was pleasantly surprised by this pendant. The color of the diamonds is very good (at least H/I) on my pendant, and I would say the clarity is SI2 to I1. There is fire to the diamonds and they don't look like the cracked ice cubes I've seen from them in the past. I would cautiously recommend this pendant. The good news is that you can always return it if yours doesn't match your expectations."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
