"As a larger ring lover, this ring was a big disappointment. No wow in the box or on my finger. It is lot smaller than it appeared on the internet picture, the color was different, more medium bright green, the stones are smaller and have more space between them. The quality was fine, the diamond accents were miniscule as expected and the gold setting just shined beautiful. This ring may work for someone with tiny hands or as a pinky ring, but not on my long fingers. It was returned the day it was received."

"I really liked this ring. The garnet pieces were very nice. However, the diamonds were soooooo small....not possible to even see with the naked eye. I wanted this as a Mothers' day gift with each child's' birthstone in it. But, the diamonds are so small that it is not distinct that there are even two stones. Therefore, I shall have to return the piece. I like it and would keep it for myself but money is a factor!"

In 1967, British geologist Campbell Bridges was prospecting in northeastern Tanzania when he discovered green grossularite (a member of the garnet family). Today we call these beautiful and highly transparent green gems tsavorite.
Tsavorites are characterized by a range of brilliant greens from spring-like pale green to intense blue green to deep forest green.




Tsavorite is a gemstone within the Garnet family.
It exhibits a green to emerald green color. On Mohs
scale of hardness, tsavorite is 7-7.5. It has a vitreous
luster and sources include Kenya and Tanzania.
