"The overall design of the ring is good. Whoever set the diamonds and center stone needs some more school. Every diamond overlaped each other and had gaps. Center stone was uneven and crooked. I fixed the diamonds myself and removed the AWEFUL looking iolite they had in there and replaced it a AAA Tanzanite. Now this ring looks awesome! When I received it though, it looked AWEFUL... If you are not a bench jeweler then I would not recommend this ring. It will cost you alot to fix it........."

"I first opened the box, and thought, wow this is really beautiful. Then I was sick, so for two weeks I didn't look at it! then one day i decided to wear it. I kept looking at the iolite stone and it really bothered me. It was so zoned, and scatched, I wondered if others notice it two? I have a few iolite stones, and have never seen one zoned. If you look at the ring straight onl it is beautiful, the opals have no play of color, but are a nice green. I agree with the other person. I will someday put an emerald in it and definately take the iolite out! So, buy the ring for the semi mount, and you will be happy. It is also one of the few pieces that have some gold weight to it, which is a plus lately, when I am ordering rings. always check the gold weight first. I was surprised that a size six would not fit my finger, it was too big and will have to be sized down. If I wasn't so sick, I would have returned it for an exchange."
