"After gazing at this ring for months online, I finally saw it presented in the jewelry showcase and couldn't resist any longer; I ordered and eagerly awaited its arrival. Much to my dismay, it arrived with one of the blue diamonds missing! Based on the absent stone and re-reading the reviews, I decided it had to go back. Even though I could have simply exchanged it, I'm not confident that the stones are secure enough to endure even seldom wear. So sad that the quality is just below par - unacceptable."

"My anticipation on this one was huge - but upon opening the box, I was disappointed. The black setting for the blue diamonds made them look murky and dark rather than the sparkly peacock blue that shows on the internet picture. Neither the blue or the white diamonds had any real sparkle. The ring 'bubbles' or 'domes' out - which made it feel quite bulky and uncomfortable on my finger. It is a BIG ring with LOTS of gold - and I like big rings - but this design just does not work for me. This one went back immediately."

"This took my breath away when I oened the box! The first time I wore it, I had 4 people comment on it, and ask what the stones were. The blue diamonds are a stunning shade of peacock blue. This is a keeper."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
