"I'm recommending this ring because I think it's a great value. There is a lot of 14K gold for the money, there really is. My beef is with the quartz. It just looks uninteresting. I'm trying to think of another cabochon to put in the place of the quartz. The cabochon is sitting on top of gold, so it actually looks rather dull and the rutiles are not distinct. And yet, there's a lot of gold and there is no getting away from the fact that this ring has a real large surface area. A great price for this setting!"

"I received my ring yesterday and it is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. It is not overwhelming at all. I have had so many compliments on the stone. The color match of the gold and the rutile were an excellent choice. At the salon people, to include men were asking about the stone and making comments about how different it looks and how they have never seen anything like it before. Of course I told every one where I got it. I LOVE THIS RING and it has become one of my favorites (top 5) in my vast collection from JTV. Keep up the GREAT work JTV."
