Product Description for 13mm Round Treated Caribbean Drusy Quartz-Q15R000046Drusy (also druzy or druse) quartz is an unusually beautiful crust of small crystals that has formed on the surface of another rock or mineral. The tiny crystals found inside geodes are a common form of drusy quartz. It is often dyed to enhance its color. Like all quartz, drusy has a Mohs' rating of 7.

"I've bought several type of these Drusy Quartz, and have been happy with every one of them. They make very beautiful pendants and if you gets ones with the exact same colors and sizes you can put them into a bracelet. To make a ring out of them the settings have to be just right for them to look good. Very happy with this purchase, but not all though....."

"I'm sending this back. I purchased for a ring setting in 13mm size- a very difficult size to find a stone for. It sits flat in the huge setting, looks awful. Stone is sort of pretty, but I would not re-order in another mm size."
