"I'm not sure how to rate this one. The good news first...it is gorgeous! The stones could not be prettier, and with tremendous sparkle. The price is great. The problem...at least with the one I received...is with the enhancer finding. Unlike any enhancer I have ever seen, when you "unlatch" it, the bail is not attached to the circle at all, so it detatches completely and you end up with 2 separate pieces. This would not be a huge problem, except that is very difficult to get it back on the circle right. The only thing I can think of would be to just use it as a pendant (not an enhancer), and never unlatch it. Maybe this is just a defect with the one I received, but wanted to mention it just in case..."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
|
