    "Color change stones are one of my passions and I was so excited to have a chance to get one of the Madagascar stones. It does indeed have a great color change, mirroring the green to purple change seen in Alexandrite, BUT the stone overall color is too dark to be able to truly see or appreciate the color change. I will thus be returning this gemstone in hopes of eventually getting a Bekily mine c-c garnet of good quality one of these days...sigh."
