Product Description for Min 6.00ct 14x10mm Emerald Cut Rutilated QuartzMost varieties of quartz are prized for having few or no inclusions, which increases their value; rutilated quartz is more valuable and sought after because of its inclusions. These "inclusions" are golden needles of rutile that form different patterns inside the stone, sometimes referred to as "Venus hair." Each pattern is as different as two snowflakes are from each other, and some of them are remarkably beautiful. It is a great collector's stone and ranks 7 on Mohs' hardness scale.

"I got this stone for my stepdaughter and took it to the jewelry store, had it polished, and set in a 14k. gold semi-mount.....This was her favorite stone out of about 400 to 500 gemstones that are in my collection......The ring turned out beautiful and she loves it.........She wears a size 4 on her ring finger on her right hand, and I thought it looked a little big, but she was so happy with it, I would never tell her that......I would recommend this stone to anyone who just wants a very nice stone, it is a lovely gemstone............."
