Product Description for Min 19.00ct 18mm Round Buff Top Rutilated QuartzMost varieties of quartz are prized for having few or no inclusions, which increases their value; rutilated quartz is more valuable and sought after because of its inclusions. These "inclusions" are golden needles of rutile that form different patterns inside the stone, sometimes referred to as "Venus hair." Each pattern is as different as two snowflakes are from each other, and some of them are remarkably beautiful. It is a great collector's stone and ranks 7 on Mohs' hardness scale.

"My husband bought this for me for Christmas, and I couldn't be happier! I have a lot of Rutilated Quartz in my collection, and a lot of Rutilated Quartz jewelry, but this is BY FAR my most beautiful piece. The facets on the bottom are superb, and the buff top acts as a magnifier for the rutile inside. Excellent gem, excellent quality, excellent VALUE!! I just can't decide what setting to place it in. If I could pull off an 18mm ring, I would SOOOO do it! It is seriously THAT beautiful! I'll take my time designing the setting for this special gem.
Thank you JTV, and thank you Steven!"
