    "I love to explore new gemstones. I had read about rhodochrosite in one of my JTV books, so when I saw these on line, I thought I'd give them a try. They are not as opaque or as saturated red as they appear here on the web - which I am happy about. They have a nice translucence and a coral type hue which is very pleasant. Thanks JTV for brining rare finds and making them into beautiful jewelry for adornment!"

    "These are very nice earrings. The weight is good, and they look wonderful in the box. Unfortunately, I was expecting a red color such as shown in the picture and on TV. The pair I received are a deep pink, and not red. So, I will be returning them. But, if you don't mind the pink color, these may be the earrings for you."

    "I never purchased high carat weight stud earrings before and I won't again. If you have small ear lobes these earrings may work for you but when I wear them, the stones are so heavy they end up facing the floor. I really like the look of the rhodochrosite, though. I think rhodochrosite would make a very attractive pendant or ring. It's much different from any other gemstones that I have purchased, a very unique color and I like the smooth texture of this cut."
