"Hi Everyone, This ring you will love. My father in-law wanted a bold white gold, black diamond ring for his upcoming wedding (july) and this ring stood out for him! and he was very happy that we were involved picking it out! The black diamonds are beautiful and all the white gold! Stunning piece! He's very happy with it! So are we! I may have to order one for my husband!! :) Cheers!"

"I was pleasantly surprised when I received this ring. It was more than I expected for the price I paid. The ring is light in weight, but great looking. It's a good deal for the money."

"My husband and I spent a great deal of time searching for a black diamond band to use as his wedding ring. Finally we found one he liked- here at JTV! When it arrived, I was a bit concerned because the diamonds didn't appear to be mounted very sturdy. Furthermore, the ring was not finished on the inside, making it very light/fragile, and uncomfortable to wear over long periods of time. (it left bright red rings on his finger). One of the center diamonds had an obvious flaw as well, but not really noticeable w/out a loupe. We decided to keep it, and get the gold filled in later. Within 6 months of LIGHT wear (and i stress LIGHT WEAR) the setting fell apart. Causing 2 stones to be lost, and damaging the gold all around the setting. MY MOST DISAPPOINTING JTV PURCHASE EVER!! I love these guys, but this one is a miss. (Unless you like paying $150 for 6 months of use!)"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
