    "this pendant casting will not fit that stone. Note the 10 and 14 kt gold castings both have a hole in the back for larger stones. I will wait and order the white gold casting for my 10mm black spinel. These castsings are better with medium shank stones. If your stone is too shallow, you could also have problems setting. Make sure the prongs are tight, because with 4 prongs, instead of the 6 on the gold it's easier to loose your gem."

    "These are fantastic. I just love them and so do my children. I try to keep a variety of these on hand in different sizes and shapes, mostly for my kids. Everytime one of their friends has a birthday (or for Xmas to give to their friends), they go through my loose stones (from the mixed faceted parcels) and make jewelry for their friends. I would recommend these to anybody who wants to make jewelry without having to take the time to learn how to prong set gems."
