    "This casting is a bit on the thin side as far as the prongs go, but it is adequate for mounting stones if you have some mounting experience. The prongs bend easily if you do not get them positioned just right over the stone, and you have to play with them a bit to align them and tighten them when you are done snapping the stone in. It still beats having to pay to have your stones mounted by someone else, and seem fine once you have finished with the mounting and tightening. The larger castings are much more substantial than these smaller ones. Now that I have my jewelry setting pliers that came in the pliers kit, it is much easier to deal with mounting stones."

    "next best thing to sliced bread! ! I only wish they would hurry up and come out with bracelet links (both N/S style & E/W style). I keep having to adapt these, and it' s time consuming and I have to -- unfortunately--pass that along to my customers
