"The black diopside has a pronounced 4-pointed star in bright sunlight. In indoor light it has a nice glow. The black stone is nicely framed by the white zircons. It goes really well with a black diamond ring I got from JTV last year, which was also framed by a circle of white diamonds. I'm wearing one on each hand. The diopside ring only came in a size 7, but it seems to run a little large for the size and I can wear it on a ring finger (normally I wear a 7.5 there) so I won't need to get it resized."
