"I was very disappointed in this ring. The gold weight is very, very light. I could hardly tell I had the ring on from the weight of it. The champagne diamonds are fair. The are on the lighter side but they do sparkle. That's about the only positive thing I can say about it. I have ordered several champagne diamond pieces from JTV so I know what a striking piece is and believe me, this just isn't it. I had to send it back. It wasn't worth the money paid."

"I purchased this ring 1st of April and received it April 12th. It is beautiful, so sparkly. It is more of a lighter candlelight champagne color, but reflects the light like crazy. It a gorgeous Art Deco antique looking ring and I'll treaure it (as all my diamonds from JTV until I die and then my grandaughter will have to build a room onto her house to hold all the jewlery from JTV and all the other jewelry I've collected for the last 40 years, plus all that my grandmother left to me. I just love jewelry and even though I can't get out and wear it very much anymore, I still buy it just because I can and I want my grandaughter to have all the jewelry she will ever want (she certainly won't need any, that's for sure). Thanks for keeping me company as I'm in bed most of the time and for offering me great pieces that I can afford. Bettyann"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
