    "This was purely a sentimental purchase as the sea and the beach are such a part of my everyday life. I looked at this for some time but didn't like the engraving on the back...but when I finally ordered it, mine did NOT have the engraving and I was so delighted. Now I have another pendent on the back--plain black onyx surrounded by gold and it looks very rich. The blue agate carving itself is lovely but hard to see the details at any distance. You have to look very closely to see the wonderful tiny carving (the reason I gave it 4 stars). Looks lovely (blue) alone or dangling on a chain under pearls or a large omega. Glad I bought it!"

    "this is a little smaller than i was expecting, even with the description. it is beautiful. very detailed. nothing on the back, except the black backing stone. from one of the previous reviews, i thought there might be an inscription, but there's not. i may order another one for my mother-in-law. if that's not a good sign, nothing is."
