"I was worried after reading the reviews for this product that I would be disappointed when I recieved my ring. This is a beautiful 3 carat ring and the sparkle on the diamonds truly is breathtaking. I could see some feathers in the diamonds and yes, they are not perfect but they are I clarity and I color. The girdle is medium to thick and the ring is a great deal for the money. Mine appraised for $6000. Thank You again JTV! I am a longtime cllient and can honestly say I have never been disappointed."

"I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of gemstone and diamond jewelry from JTV. I have rarely sent something back because of inferior quality. If you do not care what the naked eye cannot see, then this is the ring for you. The stones are clear enough, but did not meet my expectations. My local jeweler quoted me well over $4700 w/out an official appraisal, but the stones had too much carbon for my liking. The prongs were very sharp, but did set off the main stones very well. The diamonds were just above promotional grade and is a good buy for the money. But this one is not for me. If I want a ring of this size, then I am willing to pay more money for better quality stones. I am sending this one back."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
