    "Ordered this for a yellow lab stone listed at 10 mm. Could not get the stone to fit as it is too deep a cut. Something to check before you order. Am ordering a semi-mount instead."

    "I ordered a 14k gold pendant casting because I thought it would be strong. I was unfortunately wrong. I tried to place my 10mm stone into it, but it would not stay put. The prongs seemed to be very flimsy and although they did not bend there was too much give to hold the stone. I felt I would probably lose the stone while wearing it. I was also hoping that some of my heavier weight chains would fit through as well, but the opening was so little I would be forced to wear a tiny chain, which would have been unsuitable for a stone that was 10mm. I will be sending this one back."

    "The snap set castings are very easy to use. The only problem is that the bail is too small for most of my chains. In fact, I had to purchase a chain to fit this casting. I set a 10 mm gem and wanted to use my existing rope chain - but, it didn't fit. For a small gem stone this casting would be great. But, for a larger mm gem stone the bail is too small."
