"The stones in this ring are big, but very, very light. They look like aquamarine, which would be awesome if that was the look I was going for. The garnet ring was perfect (OTH038G), but this one is lacking in more than one area. Besides a bland color, the prongs are sharp and need to be filed down. Needless to say, I'm not keeping this one..."

"This is an absoulte stunning ring, but the end teardrops on each side do not have secure prongs. I like to change my rings, and the 2 times I wore the ring I lost an end teardrop on both occasions. It needs to have more secure prongs."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
