"On TV this looked like a beautiful ring for a great price. After receiveing it I was very disappointed. The setting looked cheap, and the diamonds were the worst I had ever seen. The diamonds were very milky looking and had no sparkle. I was even upset that I had to pay shipping charges both ways, and ended up with no ring for my husband."

"After reading the other reviews, I ordered this ring as a Xmas gift for my boyfriend. I was expecting a good quality ring with small but clear sparkling diamonds. Boy, what a shocker when I opened the box. Although it is a very nice design, the gold is thin and would never withstand daily wear. The pasty white diamonds make it look cheap. I can't imagine anyone who knows anyting about diamonds considering this ring good quality or a good value for the money. I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift to anyone especially someone I cared for. Thankfully, I got free shipping because it's going back ASAP."

"When I received this purchase, WOW!! I had originally purchased this for my fiancee, but I have to honestly say the thought has crept throught my mind to keep it and wear it myself! The pave set diamonds are beautiful. This ring has a good feel and weight to it. Well done Jewelry Television! I would like to find a similarly styled ring to match for myself."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
