    "I purchased this gold snap-set pendant casting for a peridot that I had purchased from jtv probably over a year or more ago. I kept the peridot because it was a lovely addition to my gemstone collection and then purchased at a later date a gorgeous oval Chinese peridot from jtv that I had professionally set in a heavy gold ring casting. So,,,,, I thought it was high time that I have a pendant to match the ring and purchased that casting a created the matching pendant. Fun and exciting to set your own stones so quickly and inexpensively. The set is stunning and looks wonderful with any of my summer wardrobe colors and I especially love wearing them with pearls which, by the way I also purchased from jtv. The only improvement idea to this casting would be to enlarge the gold base circle at the base of the prongs as when you get a heavy stone in it sometimes it is prone to be top-heavy and tips forward a little. Nonetheless, lovely. Good job once again jtv! I have received many compliments on the pendant."

    "the casting looks too frail to hold a 8mm stone. Not sure if I am sending it back. I would be willing to pay extra for a heavier casting."
