"I saw this online and thought they were beautiful. When I ordered them and saw them in person I was shocked. They are so tiny that i would recommend it for one-year-olds. They are not for adults nor teenagers. I had to return them."

"I don't really want to write a bad review as I have purchased many items from JTV and have been pleased with everything I have received in the past but when I opened this item I was extremely disappointed as the set was extremely tiny. I bought it to give to my sister but I would be embarrassed to give this set to anyone. I will be returning it."

"This is a simply beautiful set. I bought it for two friends. I'm giving the necklace to a 9 year girl and the earrings and ring to my girlfriend. They are close friends and share the same March birthday and now they will share the same aquamarine jewelry. The necklace is very delicate and the clasp very small, hard to open with long fingernails. The stones are clear and a delicate "ocean" color. The earring stones are a "stitch" lighter in color than the other stones. But all around a really gorgeous set. Probably more for a young teenage girl."

Lore
Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would insure a safe passage, and often slept with the stones under their pillow to insure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.
