    "This kit contained 8 stones all weighing approx. .75 ct. although 1 was .55 and 1 was .90. It you are looking to set them in a bracelet, all but the smallest was very deep in color and clarity and would make for a very evenly matched set. The .55 ct was a bit shallow in cut and a bit paler but could still have been used as a stone set into the clasp. Very nice kit, JTV."

On Mohs’ scale of hardness, rhodolite is 7-7.5. It has a vitreous luster and primary sources include Burma (Myanmar), China, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Tanzania, and the United States.
