"I was so excited to see this ring on the Show with Sharon and Tammara, But upon receiving the ring, I could tell the diamonds did not sparkle or shine, and looked fuzzy. I took it to a jeweler, he said that it had alot of inclusions, probably an I3, I4 clarity. The setting is nice, gold weight is just right, unlike other rings I have seen in jewelry stores . I have ordered many items from JTV and will continue to do so. I will continue to look for that special ring for my 25th anniversery."

"I was so excited to get this new ring. The hostess said the diamonds were eye clean but I could quickly see that what had been said was not accurate. The main stone appeared to have a crack across the lower half. The other large stones were cloudy and distorted. The mounting was very nice but the stones were so bad that I would have been embarrassed to wear the ring. I sent it right back."

"The ring was very pretty, but it was cloudy and had a lot of carbon spots in it. I returned the ring today."

"I ordered this looking for a piece to wear in travel. Having read the reviews and of course, having considered the price, I was curious about what this would look like. Unfortunately, all three stones have major inclusions visible to the naked eye at arm's length. I expected inclusions or other imperfections, but big black spots are something I can't live with, so I am sending this ring back.
In fairness, there's a lot to like here... great setting with plenty of gold. I do wonder if another ring might be cleaner, but am not optimistic enough to go through the whole exchange thing."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
