"This is a beautiful ring, lots of flash for your dollar. The light color of tanzanite is greatly underestimated. It’s great in the sun and even better in dim lighting. This is a rather large ring and I thought I might not like it but ended up loving it. So much so that I sent it back and missed it so much, I ordered it a second time."

Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
