"I received this pendant today and find it to be quite lovely, well made, large enough to be noticed and much bluer than most I have received. Not AAA grade, but what could you expect for this price? I have now about completed 3 sets of tanzanite for my 3 grand-daughters, who are all grown. Each consists of a ring, bracelet, earrings and a pendant for each girl. The first one has a birthday in June and I will give her a piece of hers then, the next one in August and the third one also in August. I feel that they are all good pieces and I HAVE purchased most of them from JTV. I started collecting in l970 soon after the stone of Tanzanite was discovered and have many pieces, mostly smaller ones, but the best ones are from JTV, including 2 loose AAA stones. I FEEL THAT YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PENDANT IF IT IS AS PRETTY AND BLUE AS MINE. BUY IT GIRLS.
PLEASE READ ALL OF MY REVIEWS AS THEY ARE TRUTHFUL."

"I agree with a previous reviewer in that this is not the best example of a well designed and executed pendant. Mine has stones with scratches, many heavily included and the color is a light, light, light blue. Nothing close to the web photo. I am really undecided on whether to keep this or not. It's a lot of money for not so much quality and certainly not a lot of color ! Not a lot of sparkle in the sunlight either....I'm leaning toward sending it back."

"beautiful example of tanzanite in a cluster piece. I"m giving this as a gift to my sister-in-law for her service to Tanzania in the mission field for over 50 years. When we went to Arusha in 2003, she thought I was wasting time looking for tanzanite, she knows different now. I visited with the grandson of the fellow that brought tanzanite to tiffanys, WOW did he have a collection of the largest stuff ever! I sure wish I would of spent that 35,000 on that 20 carat stone at that time. I could of paid off all my bills including my morgage! Thank you for a great thankyou gift!!
