"I love the overall look of the setting. The aqua is light in color but does compare to other aqua's that I have. I also have seen the Santa Maria Aquamarine and I know that the truer color of aquamarine is paler with a hint of the sea green, which this stone does have. I am going to keep this ring because of the size and beautiful setting. It is truly worth the price in the clarity of the stone. Because of the clarity and the pale color it can't be mistaken for anything other stone."

"This stone has a color shift! sometimes it's light blue other times it's light green like a prasiolite. I love it . It makes a big statement. I've always wanted an aqua like this. The carat weight on the diamonds appears to be more because of how they are set. I can't say enough good things about this ring"

Lore
Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would insure a safe passage, and often slept with the stones under their pillow to insure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.
