    "I normally don't review these little cheapy items, since they're pretty self explanatory. The silver is pretty, they seem well made, and it will be fun turning them into earrings with the proper beads. But I have to quote the Angel Husband, "How can they afford to sell these with free shipping and handling? They must be losing money."     "I will be creating beautiful shell earrings for summer using these sterling silver French wires. The shell earrings I have (and many of you may also have :) are stunning: the compliments they get whenever worn are amazing! But the shells are heavy, so I will create several lighter pairs of earrings to give as gifts! For dollars, I feel like I hit the jackpot in beautiful jewelry! It's nice to have jewelry and jewelry projects that are economical & fun. Compared to the vermeil French earring wires (JLW075: I've posted pictures there also), these are longer, a bonus to the sterling silver, yet the vermeil has a stronger design and the cost of gold is kept low! It would be nice to have both types of findings offered in sets. (And I wouldn't object to rose gold or platinum plated either.) Both French wire findings have their own special qualities: while the vermeil are a little smaller & more delicate, they are my favorite, working well with gold charms & pendants; these wires work well for jewelry that will be accentuated nicely by white metal. Happy & satisfied, I am using ALL the French wire earring findings offered. Thanks JTV!"
