"The size is perfect and the color of the 18kt overlay is excellent. It goes nicely with all my gold and you can't tell it's not solid gold!"

"These were cuter than expected and I will give them to my twins on their 10th birthday. So many charms don't come with chains these days and I really appreciate that JTV includes the chains with the charms. My daughters will love these and the price was perfect!!!!"

"The setting is more grayish than sparkle. I wanted it to hang on a bracelet but even there it is quite small."

"To tell the truth, I am typically drawn to bolder, more substantial jewelry, but the value was great, so when I saw the item number pop up on tv, I decided to nab one for the heck of it, even if I later decided to give it as a cute gift. As stated, when it arrived, I really wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise, I really do like this piece! Its definitely not bold, but it has an understated elegance which I was not expecting. If you're purchasing for the diamonds, I say don't bother, you really can't see them, and as some other reviewer already stated, it really does look more like two-tone than diamonds, but I like it anyway! The gold is a very nice color for being plated, and I've been wearing mine with no apparent problems about it wearing off. The small ring that attaches the key to the heart is delicate, but it has been saudered shut, so it seems very secure. Another nice thing which you can't really see from the picture is that the bail is actually larger than it appears. its a wide oval, so if you wanted to put the pendant on a thicker chain, thats absolultely fitting. The inside of the bail measures about 7 mm, but theres a small loop around the 'lock' of the heart which keeps the diamond accents facing forward, so the 'working space' I suppose you'd call it is actually around 5 mm. I really do love this piece, and if I hadn't already purchased all the graduation presents I need, I'd be ordering more!"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
