"It is better in person. The citrine is a medium dark color, the brushed silver really sets it off and the gold trim is a wonderful finishing touch."

"I just received this ring and liked it so much in citrine that I ordered it in garnet as well. The silver portion of it is much shinier than the picture - it looks like it might be rhodium plated (although the description doesn't say that). I thought the quality was fine, especially for under $20 -- very "designer" style. Note: It seems to run true to size, I got a 9 and it fits as expected. However, because it is the same width all around, you might want to consider going up a size for comfort - that's what I did."

Citrine is a quartz crystal. While its name refers to a lemon yellow color, citrine can be found in a range of yellows from light yellow to dark yellow and golden brown. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, citrine is 7. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Argentina, Burma (Myanmar), Namibia, Russia, Scotland and Spain.
