"The earrings are a great price, and a nice, large size. The hook is long, so they won't fall out. But these are the palest tanzanites I've seen. The color is right (purple/blue), but they're pale. They also are nice & clear (not cloudy) which is good.
For the weight , and for a girl that loves tanzanite, it's a great price for the genuine article. But the screen color doesn't represent them correctly."

Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
