"I had been wanting a blue topaz ring. I looked at this one several times but hemmed and hawed since the stone wasn't that large. Due to the color and the price I decided to go for it. I'm glad I did! The color of the blue is incredible and the yellow gold and silver set it off beautifully. The shape of the stone also gives the ring an uncommon look. Another happy purchase from JTV!"

"I have become a reader of the reviews before deciding to purchase. I too, have nothing but praise for this blue topaz ring set in silver and 18K overlay. My personal color favorite in the topaz is this sky blue, the color of a summer sky. This ring has it, set off beautifully by the 18K gold frame. This is a medium sized ring with plenty of stone presence. The setting is sturdy, sturdy enough for every day wear. I love it!"

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
