"I just received my parcel of Aquamarines. It's my son's birthstone. I was hoping for a trillion cut about 4mm. No such luck. My son just asked his girlfriend to marry him and wanted to put his birthstone and her birthstone(garnet) with my diamond in her engagement ring. The stones I did receive were really nice... some emerald cut, rounds, pears, and a heart shape....I'm very satisifed..."

"30 stones in this parcel - mostly 4 - 6 mm sizes but various shapes including rounds, ovals, emeralds, square & even hearts.
What can you say about aqua - it is what it is. Lots of it was very light. Not my favorite gemstone, but gave me a good selection for accent stones for various other colored gems."

"There was a pear shaped stone about 1 ct with light color. Most of the rest were smaller than 1/4 ct. eight or so were maybe 5 pts- pretty small. I think the large one was worth the price."

"I bought this parcel as a birthday gift for a good friend and co-worker. It's a good buy for the money. The largest gem is a nice size 8x6mm oval. There are 22 gems in the parcel of various sizes and shapes. I hope she appreciates this collection of gems as much as I do. It's always such a treat for me to go through a new gem parcel. I'm like a kid at Christmas time. Thank You gem show hosts, gem buyers and all the other super folks at J TV who bring us such gem treats."

    Lore

Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would insure a safe passage, and often slept with the stones under their pillow to insure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.
