"I just got my ring in yesterday. It is amazing how much sparkle and glow comes out of this stone. I have wanted a spessertite wg ring for a long time. And when this went on sale I jumped on it. I love this ring I have put up the diamond and put this on. It just sparkles in the sun you should see it. And it must be my lucky week because today I was watching Scott and what do you think they brought out on clearance trillion spessartite so I got 2 to make earrings to go with my ring. . . .
I think JTV has lost there mind with the prices they are offering but boy do I love it."

"This ring is very dainty. The Spessartite Garnet is phenomenal in color and clarity and is very reflective. The accent diamonds on the side of the setting are surprisingly clean and add some character to this rather delicate ring. I primarily ordered this ring because the gemstone is placed in a White Gold setting, which allows one to truly appreciate the orange glow of the Spessartite Garnet rather than relying on a Yellow Gold setting to make the stone appear more intense. I will wear this on my ring finger but I could easily see this as an adorable pinky ring as well."

"I agree with boogalous review...vivid orange, darker than pictured. I have trillion earrings, but like the color of the ring better as it is richer. Clarity and sparkle are wonderful. Nice little ring for little hands like mine (Size 4 ring finger). Setting is nice too. Great price! Keeper!!!"

Spessartite is a rare garnet ranging from a yellowish-orange to an intense fiery orange known as mandarin garnet.




Spessartite is a brilliant transparent gemstone. The colors of spessartite garnets can range from a bright vibrant orange to a deep red-orange color, and even some brownish and greenish oranges. Spessartite was once just a collector's gem but moved into mainstream gemology in the 1990s. Spessartite is 6.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs' scale of hardness and, like all garnet, is untreated, so the beautiful color that you see is strictly as nature created it.
