"Pearls, green, clearance; these are a few of my favorite things. These are indeed multi colored, and will go well with all our other pearls, as well as our yellow, teal, and (of course) green clothing. The length is great, and nothing could be more refreshing for spring and summer."

"My teenage son was there when I opened the ever-popular, and was unimpressed until I tried them on--he thought they looked "nice", much better on than in the box was his opinion. I think they are beautiful and unusual, look great doubled, tripled, tied in a lariat and looks good with green, yellow, brown, black and white. Nice weight, and though many of the pearls aren't perfectly round, I think that adds to the charm of the strand. A signature piece at a terrific price."

A pearl is a lustrous, organic gem produced by saltwater oysters, freshwater mussels and occasionally by some shellfish. It exhibits a range of colors from white to pink, silver, cream, peach, gold, green, blue and black. Oh Mohs’ scale of hardness, pearl is 2.5 – 4.5. Primary sources of Sea Pearls include Persian Gulf; Gulf of Manaar; along the coasts of Madagascar, Burma (Myanmar), and the Philippines; many islands in the South Pacific, northern Australia; and the coastal lines of Central and northern South America; and some small beds in Japan. Primary sources of freshwater Pearls include United States, some in Europe (restricted in Central Europe).
