"At first, the ring looked impressive. It has some positive and negative points. Upon closer inspection, the baguette diamonds on the side looked cracked and muddy. However, the 9 princess diamonds in the center and the round diamonds framing the princesses were pretty nice. With this particular setting, the princess diamonds seemed to almost get lost in the setting and were not very noticeable. The gold weight on this ring is very substantial and the undergallery was very intricate and lovely. It sits up fairly high on the finger. I had a difficult time and was unsure. I finally decided that the diamonds just didn't POP enough for my liking considering the price of the ring. It's going back."

"I love the setting it is so smooth and doesn't catch on anything and the sparkle of the diamonds, I still need to take it to the jeweler but regardless of what they say I will keep the ring, the ring is a replacement for my wedding set which was stolen, the diamonds seem to be eye clean, I just which I could have the ring sized down a half size, it is just a little large so I have to wear a ring guard on it. But I love it."

"This is my first experience to buy from Jewelry Television. Before I made the purchase I was skeptical but the reviews were all so great so I decided to risk it. I got the ring and very much dissapointed. The sparkles and stones are so obvious with speck, dirt and cloudy almost in all of them. The setting look big, crooked and cheap. I compare it to the one I bought from ice.com and the difference is day and night. From photo and video the ring looks like a steal but in real life the quailty and craftmanship is so poor. Got the ring on 22nd and sent it back the next day on 23rd"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
