"Very nice diamonds, pretty piece but this seems to be a problem with a lot of these smaller slides, the bail 1.5 mm is way too small, you can't use another chain except the really dainty ones and even some of those do not fit! I bought another chain and it was spring clasp and the little jump ring was even too big for this bail! Forget trying to use lobster claws the ends will not go through. Too bad because these are really nice every day pieces but without a chain what good is the pendant? No more 1.5 mm bails please!"

"The diamonds in this piece of jewelry are bright, clean, and no inclusions to the eye. The workmanship is outstanding and even the chain is excellent. My wife just loves the jewelry and I am out of the "dog-house.""

"Nice, not "cookie-cutter" circle of life pendant. Diamonds are bright, clear, very light champagne and white with good sparkle. Very well made like the one with all white diamonds with a black cord made by the same company I bought a couple of years ago. This one cost much less and has a slide bail so that you use a chain instead of having to use a cord all the time. One problem that keeps happening to me with JTV chains; it broke less than a week after I got it. Delicate, dainty chains are more feminine, but it cost more to have them repaired than you can buy another. You can't use a thicker chain, will not fit thru the bail. Love the piece, but wish JTV would make stronger chains. I have at least 20 broken ones in my collection, different styles and prices. PLEASE work on this constant problem. Thanks"

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
